Complete Big Bang installation from cuts/stitches

Cuts and Stitches began from thoughts about self-harm, drug addiction, and compulsive behavior, exploring apparent wounds—self-inflicted or otherwise—and the makeshift attempts at healing that follow. Cuts and severances are stitched with zip ties as an allusion to fast-acting consumerist solutions for deep wounds and underlying emotional turmoil. The plastic ties precariously join distressed organic material while creating sharp edges, points of tension, and new rips; they may outlast both the traumatic events and the wounds those events opened.
