Beef, Beef, Not Cow, Not Cow explores identity, poetry, transcendence, and self-sacrifice. Linking the distinction between cow and beef to spiritual pursuits in selflessness, the project moves through the dichotomy of consumption and creation. It proposes escape from that cycle through becoming an object of consumption rather than a consumer or creator: instead of individualizing the self as cow, giving it to a greater whole as beef.
